Join neighbors, chefs, farmers, foodies and food justice advocates at the 2012 Brooklyn Food Conference, Saturday May 12th from 9AM-6PM at Brooklyn Technical High School. It's a full day of over 170 workshops, panel discussions, neighborhood meet-ups, cooking demos, films, speakers, kids activities, garden tours and a food business expo. Whether you want to learn more about food policy and justice in Brooklyn, bring the kids to plant seeds and learn about beekeeping, hear from world-renowned food justice advocates, meet your neighbors, network with food businesses, or eat your way through Brooklyn's greatest culinary creations--we have something for you. It's free but pre-register to avoid a wait at the door--5,000 people are expected www.bkfoodconference.org
